The George Mitchell report (find it on TheSmokingGun.com) implicated 86 pro baseball players. However, no team came out looking worse than my Los Angeles Dodgers!My question is this: All that roid use and not a single World Series ring? What's the point then!!!?
I'm sort of kidding, but I've written enough about steroids. Succinctly, I don't care. We need to put sports in their proper perspective. Sure, there are million at stake, but I'm not invested monetarily or emotionally so no big deal to me. Spend the time and money investigating REAL crimes, not steroids.
In my opinion, steroids are harmful and kids should be informed. But adults know the dangers of roid use. If they want to trade away their health for a few more home runs and some cash, so be it. It's their choice.
Is it unfair? Of course! Those who choose to play clean end up being penalized. But so are those who are not genetically gifted, sick, etc... Life is not fair!
