Custom Bikes

So what type of bike do you ride? Does your bike HAVE to be a Trek, Specialized or Giant? What does your choice of bike say about you?

Today's L.A. Times has a good article about custom shops. The article is entitled, "Bicycle builders are on a roll." The advantage of these bikes is that they are built to order. Most shops will request the rider's measurements or, if the buyer lives near by, will fit the rider at the shop. The result is a bike that fits the way it's supposed to.
